Small Excavator Shines in Halloween

In this Halloween, my company organized a Pumpkin Carving Contest. My friend Lee became the champion with her creative work that a small excavator was carved on the little pumpkin. Several days before the Halloween, the administrative staff started to convene people to attend the Pumpkin Contest and many people felt excited to attend the contest. The Pumpkin Carving Contest contains two parts including individual event and group event. According to the name list, the administrative staff divided the groups. Many people have thought well about how to design their work before the contest. This definitely will be an intense competition.


On the Halloween, the contest was carried out smoothly, people designed their work with great passions. To our surprise, each work is in high quality and can be called art. Some carved smiling face, some carved funny face, some carved a carriage. My friend Lee carved a small excavator on the pumpkin in order to stand out our company’s business. The excavator is so lively that attracted many people watching. When asked the procedures of making this work, Lee explained with smile. First, she scooped the pumpkin flesh and seeds out, then she draw a small digger on the little pumpkin with brush and carved it according to the outline, finally she put the candle into the empty pumpkin and the whole work was done.


Finally, Lee became the champion without doubt and obtained the first prize. When the photographer took picture for her and her small excavator, Lee gave a big smile and the small digger looks shining under the flashlight.

Small Excavator, the Warrior in the Mine Construction

With population increasing, the demand for energy grows rapidly. The mineral resource is one of the most practical energy resources in the earth. Small excavator is often used in the mineral construction with its high reliability and flexibility. There are vast territory and abundant resources in China. Being compact and flexible, the little machine can easily move around in the narrow space of the mine. The strengthened cab can protect the operator from the falling rubble, improving safety. The compact excavator can exploit about 15 tons mineral per hour, which equals to the workload of 5 people, improving working efficiency. What is more, the cost is much lower than employing labor force.


From the above, we can see that the small excavator is more suitable than labor force in the mine construction, which not only improves working efficiency but also guarantees safety and greatly reduces the probability of causing accidents. Therefore, the small digger is called the warrior in the mine, small body with strong power.

Hydraulic Excavator for Construction Applications

The hydraulic excavators are designed for various operation uses, such as excavating, leveling, digging, loading and demolishing. Commonly used in construction, road building, mining, and civil engineering projects, the hydraulic excavators are applicable for various operations. Backhoe operation of hydraulic excavators is suitable for digging an area which is lower than the excavator. When the hydraulic excavator’s boom cylinder is at 90-degree angle while the arm cylinder stays vertically, maximum digging force can be obtained through the thrusting force of each hydraulic cylinder. Make use of this angle effectively to help you achieve the maximum working efficiency of the excavator. The digging range of the hydraulic excavator’s arm is from 30 to 45°. The angle may vary according to digging depth, but it is better to keep it within the above range if possible. Do not operate the hydraulic cylinders to their full.


You can use the hydraulic excavator to dig a trench efficiently by installing a bucket suitable for this job and adjust your excavator tracks to parallel the to-be-dug trench line. When digging a wider trench, excavate first both sides of the trench and then remove the middle part. In excavating operation, the excavator track should be adjusted vertical to road shoulder or cliff, with sprockets behind the excavator cab, so that the hydraulic excavator can retreat easily in case of an emergency. For excavator loading operation in a place where the swinging angle is small, working efficiency can be improved by parking the dump truck at where the excavator operator could see easily. It is more convenient for the compact excavator to load more material if the dump truck is loaded from rear rather than from its sides.

Excavator operator need know dangerous conditions in jobsites

Excavator operators usually work out in the field or construction sites; therefore, cautious investigation on the worksites is crucial to the safety of the excavator operator and to the safe operation. First of all, the operator should check the terrain and ground condition and use the safest operating method, try to avoid traveling or operating the excavator in areas with risk of landslide or falling stones, near cliffs, road shoulders or trenches, because the soft and loosen ground in these areas may not bear the excavator’s weight and vibration, as a result, the machine might sink or tumble down. The ground may become softer after heavy rain, explosion or earthquake. If the excavator has to work on a dam or near a ditch, vibration and machine weight may trigger a landslide, thus protective measures have to be taken prior to operation in order to prevent the excavator from tumbling down or falling over. For instance, to solidify the ground, keep a safe distance away from the ditch and assign a signal man when necessary.


If there are underground water mains, gas lines, cables or high voltage electric wires on the worksite, the large excavator operator must inform and ask related utilities providers to mark the area, and be careful not to cut any lines while digging the ground. When necessary, in order to prevent any unauthorized personnel from entering the construction site, it’s necessary to assign a signal man for the excavator operator and build a fence when operating on a highway. In addition, the operator must be extremely alert when operating on frozen ground as the excavator operation will cause the ambient temperature increase, which may result in soft and slippery ground. When traveling or operating the excavator in shallow water or soft ground, the operator has to check the type and condition of rock bed as well as the depth and water flow in advance.

Sany High-Front Shovel

The structure of high-front shovel consists of the work jib, extension jib, crude oil cylinder, working jib oil cylinder, digging bucket oil cylinder and other parts.  In the upper body bucket, clearance fit with an extension jib, and under onside of the extension jib connected to the cruel oil cylinder. The front of the extension jib is connected to the clearance fit of the working arm by axis pin, and there armed with a working jib oil cylinder between working jib and extension jib. In the front of the working jib, there is an excavator bucket which is connected to one side of the excavator bucket oil cylinder through connecting rod. The other side of the excavator bucket oil cylinder is movable fitly connected with the extension jib through connecting rod.
